WHAT-A-TRIP. Visiting Seattle, let alone shooting in Seattle, has been pretty high on my bucket list for a while. The people, the landscape, THE COFFEE, and the weather all attracted me to this part of The States. As many can tell by my photos, I absolutely love overcast/stormy/ dreary weather. I love the way colors look in that type of lighting as well as being able to play off it and make moody/dramatic photos. To my luck it was clear and sunny for most of the day… BUT towards the end of the session ( 8 hours in) we ran into some crazy fog and a BLUE SUNSET. You will notice towards the end of the photos taken at Rialto Beach they tend to look pretty blue. That wasn’t something I manipulated in photoshop. It was that blue. Unreal. This is a lengthy blog but its well worth going through it all. I was able to work with an amazing and quirky couple and shoot ALL OVER olympic national park. Well, at least majority of it…we had one day, haha. I’m floored and beyond flattered that Caitlin and Jacob trusted me enough to bring me across the country to take these photos for them.
